The 1% IRR Project is dedicated to helping investors find the tools, techniques, and habits that lead to marginal improvements.

Evidence suggests searching for and implementing small process improvements, especially in unexpected areas, can compound into massive performance gains over time.

This idea is inspired by David Brailsford:

 

“The whole principle came from the idea that if you broke down everything you could think of that goes into riding a bike, and then improve it by 1 percent, you will get a significant increase when you put them all together.”

Ultimately, an investor’s job is generating an acceptable return on his/her money. There are numerous books, newsletters, and podcasts dedicated to the investment process. However, there are few resources that ask a most fundamental question:

What do great investors do everyday that sets them apart?

​

What tools do they use? What are their habits? Like Charlie Munger, do they read multi-disciplinary books constantly? If so, when?

​

And … what is a voracious reader anyway?!
